Next Event, March 25th, 2023; Ingomar

Ingomar is hosting their Third Annual Bill Seward Day, Saturday, March 25th beginning at 11:00AM, at the Tri-City Rec Center, with fun events, games and great grub planned. The town is celebrating the completion of Phase III of their acoustics improvement program (thanks to CFNRC support and local volunteers). Tour the Tri-City area’s historical photo gallery, displayed around the Tri-City Rec Center on building walls, with local stories exhibited as well. Things are definitely taking shape!

In honor of this event, a special raffle is taking place for a hand-painted saw by Conchetta Coluccio. “The saw is a remarkable work of art,” noted Ingomar’s Hart Broesel. “Besides capturing historical Ingomar, the more you look at the saw, the more you notice extra little details that remind you of Bill Seward and the character he was, that put Ingomar on the map.” Raffle tickets are 1 for $5, or 3 for $10. To get tickets before the event, call 406-740-0545. Raffle tickets will also be sold at the event, with the winner announced at 3:00PM that day.

It’s a Tri-City Rec Center fund raiser. Everybody is invited! Bill Seward Beans, roast beef sandwiches, sheepherders hors d’oeuvres for lunch. Libations will be available. Come enter the Corn Hole tournament – $30 per team, with cash prizes for corn hole winners. You can bring a partner or find one at the event. There will be exciting door prizes as well! And no doubt, there will be many interesting (perhaps a bit far-fetched) stories shared about Ingomar’s history and colorful residents past and present.

Tickets for the event (including lunch and a door prize ticket) are $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12, and $35 for a family.

Questions, please call 406-358-2255. “We look forward to seeing you there Sat. March 25th beginning at 11:00AM,” said Tri-City Rec member Alice Cameron, “Come see what we’ve done!”
